Fayetteville Police Make Several Drug Arrests

The arrests took place at several locations and at different times, but did have methamphetamine as a common connection along with the suspects having had previous run-ins with the law. On Thursday police tried to pull over Thomas W. Lightfoot, 33, from Fayetteville, at the intersection of W. Martin Luther King Jr. and S. Hollywood because he was not wearing a seat belt, but instead of stopping Lightfoot sped off, according to a police report.

An instructor at the University of Arkansas School of Law recently announced plans to run for City Council this year. Lucas Regnier, 44, hopes to occupy the Ward 3, Position 1 seat currently held by Justin Tennant, who recently announced he will not seek a third term in November.

Suspect Arrested In JBGB Break-In Also Has Order Of Protection Against Him

Police arrested a suspect in the break-in and thefts at a Fayetteville bar and grill, and court records show the suspect had an order of protection issued against him by his former roommate the same day as the break-in. A preliminary arrest report from the Fayetteville Police Department shows Tristan Nathaniel Starr, 24, of Fayetteville was arrested on charges of breaking or entering, theft of property and criminal mischief.

The Level 2 sex offender was convicted in 2015 of possession of 2,500 photos and 450 videos depicting children engaging in sexually explicit conduct A convicted sex offender missing a nose was arrested in Arkansas last week on charges of possession of child pornography. Joshua Box, 35, from Fayetteville, was indicted on June 5 on four counts of receiving material involving the sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of possessing material involving the sexual exploitation of a minor younger than 12. He was booked into the Washington County Jail on those counts two days after a grand jury returned the indictment.
