Silver Alert Issued For 85-Year-Old Metro Man

Authorities have issued a Silver Alert for a man, last seen driving away from a home in northwest Oklahoma City, Saturday morning. Oklahoma City Police say 85-year-old William York was reported missing from his home in the 2800 block of N. Harvard Ave, near NW 26th St. and N. Ann Arbor Ave., around 10:30 a.m. York was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, gray sweatpants and might be driving a tan Ford F-150 pickup with Oklahoma license plate number CHW080 .

A national Disc Golf Icon was in Moore Friday talking about plans to build a new disc golf course in Moore. Moore lost its only disc golf course during the May 20, tornado in 2013.

Panama man uninjured in McClain County wreck

A Panama man was uninjured after a wreck Thursday in McClain County while a McCurtain man was taken by Life Flight due to a wreck the same day near Keota. Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported 57-year-old Gary Moore of Panama was uninjured when a vehicle pulled out in front of the 1999 International Semi he was driving on State Highway 74 north of Sooner Road in Goldsby after 6 p.m. The incident report said a 2008 Mazda CX9 driven by a 16-year-old Harrah juvenile turned in front of Moore and was struck by the semi.
